New work from Ikonium getting ready for our exhibition in Bodrum set for July...its all hands on deck Mehmet, Theresa, Sali.Unuz have all been pitching in to create new items!!It has been ramazon, fasting time here, so we have been working through the night ,,trying to work off all the delicious food we have been eating for iftar and sahur!!!!

This bag headed to Rome this week with Carlo and the boys..always nice to have them visit the shop. They left with promises to bring fresh ricotta on their net visit!!!!!

Rug workshop with the ladies from Holland. Leisbeth and Ann-Margot spent 3 days working on their Osman felt rugs here at Ikonium Studio. The rugs were initially kicked usng traditional Turkish method out in our neighborhood park with the Aya Sofia as a backdrop. The girls wee alot of fun, laughng is a good way to work through the strenuous part of making the felt. Delicious lunches made by Mehmet were a treat as always and the girls later confessed that everything else they ate while here paled in comparison!!Afiyet olsun!

We love having students stopin from all over..we recently had Jean Sims Barlow from Colorado and Haku from Jpan. We are expecting more students in October from USA, Holland and Australia
