Felt workshops with Leiko
We had a lot of fun and played with new applications of wool for felt over a few days. The work of Leiko Uchiyama was an inspirational background for the workshops. Students were surprised at the patience needed to craft felt lace. I took the various samples made in each class and added some yardage from leftover wool
(and help from a friend) to craft a cute little felt jacket.
